It is hard to believe that a year has come and gone since the heartrending day last summer when it was first reported that Teagan had been involved in a tragic amusement park accident and that her chances of survival were uncertain. Now, a year later, and almost 14, Teagan has made amazing progress. Due to the fierce determination that has always been a part of her personality and the devotion of her incredible therapy team, family, friends, and supporters, Teagan has regained much of the independence she lost. She is able to walk short distances with the aid of a walker and has returned to her studies via a virtual on-line school where she nervously anticipates beginning high school work.
